Tonight’s dinner was very, very good. I needed something that could be thrown together relatively quickly as we had big plans for this evening. This was just the thing (although my house smelled like garlic for 2 days!) I increased the amount of pasta, always a serving stretcher for me, and decided that I didn’t want half of a container of heavy cream in my fridge and decided to increase the amount of cream and decrease the amount of milk. My dash of Worcestershire got a little out of hand, but it tasted fine anyway. The broccoli, I’m not sure how much I used, it was the remainder of a 32 ounce bag that I had in the freezer. Frozen shrimp was on sale this week, that’s what was used and it conveniently was already peeled!

We took the boys to see Straight No Chaser at the Gettysburg Festival tonight as an end of school treat. We were not sure how they would like it, but feel they need to experience something beyond popular music. Turns out they really enjoyed it and we are hoping to catch another show in the future. The concert was outside and with the unpredictability of the weather here lately we weren’t sure how things would

go, but it ended up being a beautiful night.
