Chocolate Chip Banana Bread


  • 1 ⅓ cups banana, very ripe and mashed (about 2 large)
  • ⅔ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 ⅔ cups Bisquick, Original or Reduced Fat
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips

Heat oven to 350°. Grease bottom only of a loaf pan, 9x5x3.

Combine these ingredients until well blended.

Stir into batter. Pour into pan.

Bake 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes. Run knife or metal spatula around sides of loaf to loosen; remove from pan to wire rack. Cool Completely before slicing.

Makes 1 loaf

I do not like banana bread so I made this for the boys in the house. Husband says it’s really good, but I think mine looked much more dense than the one in the original picture. He also says that’s normal for banana bread. Well they ate it, so it must have been good.
